I came to Christ later in life-age 35. I was in the world and started studying with the minister at that time. We read and discussed the bible. I became convicted of sin in my life and my past. We at the Church of Christ believe the bible reveals the plan of God for His people. Baptism (immersion in water) is for the forgiveness of sins, naming Jesus Christ as LORD in our lives. Christ paid the price for our sins on the cross.

Romans 8:1 'Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.' When we do our best to follow Jesus there is continuing forgiveness for us even when we occasionally stumble. We are a group of believers trying our best to be the first century church that Christ died for. We are there to help each other and seekers to find God and His will for our lives in His Word.
