Joe Bieren - Elder
I was born and raised in Lewiston so I am a "Valley Guy" through and through. I came to
Christ later in life at age 40, spending several months studying the Bible with the
minister of the Lewiston church of Christ at that time. I became convicted by the Word
and was baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of my sins and received the gift of the
Holy Spirit just as the first Christians did in the book of Acts 2:38. My wife, Carrie, and I
have strived to serve the Lord wherever He has called us. Prior to serving as an Elder, I
have been involved in the teaching our youth, adult Bible classes, Youth activities,
Fellowship Ministry and as the Deacon of Fellowship.
"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Galatians 5:13-14 "Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth." 1 John 3:18
